This was the first of my Russian nesting doll obsession. This painting was inspired by the relationship between the sun and the moon. It is because the sun shines to brightly that the moon also shines down upon us. Their relationship offers polarity and harmony. This painting reminds me of the natural cycles of life and that every one of us shines in our own divine time.
